The History Of Dusty's
It started way back at Kranhold where video game nights would turn in to video game mornings endless hours of video games. Then there was one night in 1997 when Originator Donnie Logsdon (Owner and Coach of the Lords) came up with an idea about Dusty's he asked Kurt ( Owner and Coach of the Blazes) & Keith (Owner and Coach of the Vipors) what if we started a league schedule, stats, play-offs, all-stars, MVP's, goldgloves......without any hesitation both guys said lets try it so at that moment everything got into motion Donnie would make a schedule Keith & Kurt would make the stat sheets and Kurt would come up with a motto & logo every year, some better then others. The first season went well a few arguments about awards but that is given when you play video games with Kurt or Donnie. There were many changes through the years including fines, your own DDAL Pens, franchise players, fast pitch, expansion, just like any league DDAL always looked for improvements some stuck some didn't. The league had good success at times and wasn't until the Kranhold house was sold when the league hit rock bottom, it knocked the wind out of the three. They tried more expansion and bigger league at Swansea but it never got off the ground it was sad to see Dusty's go this way but it seemed the last DDAL league game may have been played.

The Future .....Perhaps
If there is a future and if Dusty Diamond can be saved (health & league) then it will be very very different with Keith having a family, Donnie having a son, and Kurt.....well Kurt being .....Kurt. The league will be played more than likely on weekends at different places Kurts Apartment, Keith's Apartment, or AmberFields way (Donnie's residence). They would have to play the season all in one day and this would happen at least once a month, it seems easy enough but will it happen only time will tell recently I have gotten quotes from several players about this exciting news and here is a few of them Stan " Hey I am a gamer whenever, wherever I am ready to go ....Kurt lets do it baby." Slick " Good News I have been working out everyday for a moment like this I am ready to go I am better then ever." Boris " Wow! I haven't picked up a ball since the last league this could get ugly." Mudcat " As long as I am in the line up and Keith or Donnie is my coach, Game On." Mikey " That's what I am saying its about F#@KING Time." With all the news spreading of the league's re-emergence it could be the most exciting softball we have seen yet. Only Time will Tell.
