2005 Cordova Redsox after coming off a title contending team have once again reshaped their roster. With many players leaving for other teams and some not even playing at all, the Redsox have dropped to the 18 AA division and revamped its roster with a bunch of new faces and some returning faces as well

The Redsox success during the season will weigh heavily on the veterans on the team. Returning All-stars Dan Lowery and Keith Warmack along with crafty vet Tim Rushing and the hard hitting Rich Moreno will be asked to provide most of the offense. Donnie Logsdon is returning to the field after a year off and hopes to be a spark at the top of the lineup.

Some of the familiar faces that have returned after some time away are Kurt Toomey and Ken Prather. Justin Wentzel has come over to help solidify the infield defense and has some NABA experience to share with some of the rookies that fill the lineup. Tommy Juelch has decided to play for the Redsox when he isn't busy bashing the ball for his 28AA team the Gators. Larry Lane, Danny Phillips, Cid Vasquez, Mike Ramirez, Andre Calhoun are first year players to the NABA. Jose and Enrique Gomez were added to the team via the NABA draft as well as Draftee Ryan Luttrell.

With a team full of inexperience and unable to match the talent it had last year the Redsox are in for a very interesting ride this season. Veterans are gonna have to step up and lead this team. Players are gonna have to pick each other up and develop a chemistry together in order to make the playoffs and contend for a title. Can the Redsox match a magical run of a season ago? Only 22 games will tell.
